Junheng Li, Founder and Senior Equity Analyst
Prior to founding JL Warren Capital LLC, Ms. Li was a senior equity analyst at Aurarian Capital Management, a long and short equity hedge fund based in New York. She focused on small to mid-cap companies in the technology, medical devices and renewable energy industries both in the US and in China.
Previously, Ms. Li was an equity analyst in the global small/middle capitalization team at Franklin Templeton Fiduciary, where she helped to launch and manage a small cap fund focusing on developed equity markets in Asia. Before Fiduciary, Ms. Li was an investment banking analyst in Media and Telecommunications Group at Credit Suisse First Boston based in New York.
Ms. Li received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from Middlebury College (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, College Scholar, Honors in Economics).
Ms. Li is a Shanghai native and speaks fluent Mandarin.
Peter Winn,
Peter Winn is the
President and founder of Education First in China, a leading brand in language
education.
Mr. Winn has had
over 15 years of experience in strategic management, marketing, operations and
finance in China and has held management positions with McKinsey & Co.,
Wharf Holdings Ltd, Morgan Stanley and Asian Strategic Investment
Corporation.
Mr. Winn received a
BA in Politics from Princeton University in 1990, an MA in International
Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton
Business School in 1998, and was a Blakemore Scholar at Tsinghua University in
Beijing in 1997.
Mr. Winn has lived
and worked for the past 12 years in Mainland China and Hong Kong and speaks
Mandarin and Cantonese.
